Week 14 reading A: The Princess and the Pea

 The Princess and the pea, is a common story that I have heard before. This is a story that I really like and I think it could fit into my portfolio theme very easily. 

Plot: 

-There was a prince who wanted to marry a princess, but had to travel far and wide to find a real one. 

-One evening there was a terrible storm and the king heard a knocking at the city gate. 

- At the gate there was a woman claiming to be a princess, though the storm caused her to be looking really rough. 

-they decided to test if she was a real princess by putting a pea under her mattress

-the next morning when they reconvened, the princess claimed that she slept horribly because there was something hard under the mattress

-The prince then believed her and took her as his wife. the end.
